Heavenly music from China

In China, a blowing musical instrument named YUN in the shape of egg had been very popular since Shang Dynasty, more than 3 thousands years ago. YUN is one of the oldest globular & flute-like Chinese instruments, which was made of clay or ceramic, similar to an ocarina but without a fipple mouthpiece. The thick and penetrating sound by YUN can be visualized as a boundless desert or a meadow of densely grown grasses.
It has a blowing hole on top and generally eight smaller finger holes (three each for the index, middle, and ring fingers of each hand, and one for each thumb). It is popular also because of its compact size, easy-to-carry, graceful sound and beautiful shape. The pitch is controlled by the different arrangement of the air windows, air chambers and holes on it.

Listening to the heavenly music, one can be relieved from the secular world, identifying the true self, and returning to the spiritual realm of purity…..

Nowadays, PUZHEN Life combines the cultural tradition of China with the ordinary life.

PUZHEN Life integrating the heavenly music of Xun and Qin, the sounds of classical chime, the treatment of fragrance, as well as the natural material, into her design of aroma diffuser products – The YUN series.

Concept of YUN

The form of YUN series is derived from the Chinese ocarina – YUN, an ancient musical instrument. YUN series collects the sound of ancient musical instruments such as the seven-stringed zither, xun and chime, and sounds of nature such as those of flowing water and birds. It upholds the ancient eastern theory of Yin and Yang and the five elements, which makes adjustment to body and soul in order for one to nurture oneself. YUN series upholds the ancient way of preserving health. It enables us to achieve heaven-man harmony and a healthy state of balance between body and soul.

Puzhen Life aims as inspiring the simplicity and purity of the body and mind, and promoting a harmonious and natural way of living in the hustle and bustle of modern life.
