“Five Senses Treatment” - the tension defusing treatment (Part I)
Due to the rapid pace of life and excessive stress, many modern people lives under great pressure encountering problems of depression, fatigue, lazy, insomnia, headache, and losing attention.
Researches have shown that the "Five Senses Treatment" can deal with these symptoms with very good results.
Five sense treatments
Five sense treatments originate from the ancient eastern traditional theory of Yin and Yang. Using the five-sense treatments that involve “sound”, “colour”, “smell” and so on make adjustments to the body and soul for keeping health. As far as “sound” is concerned, the five notes of ancient Chinese music, “gong”, “shang”, “jiao”, “zhi” and “yu”, are used to regulate the human body’s mechanisms and to balance the emotions. With reference to “colour”, the use of variations of the five colours of “green”, “red”, “yellow”, “white” and “black” can tune the psychological and physiological mechanisms of the human body. When “smell” is involved into respiration, the inhalation of different fragrances will improve blood circulation to refresh our brain.
Upholding the ancient way of preserving health, Five sense treatments enable us to achieve heaven-man harmony and to maintain a healthy state by keeping balance of the body and soul.
Sense of Auditory - music treatment:
During listening to music, your mind & soul can be released to a relaxed state with all fatigue disappeared. Whenever you are in physical exhaustion, listening to a track of beautiful music can make you feel much better. Besides, music with fast rhythm can bring people to high spirit; music with happy pace disperses the depressed feelings; lively music makes appetite; lyric songs make people calm.
Puzhen Life put this idea into her aroma diffuser series. She collects the sounds of ancient musical instruments such as the seven-stringed zither, xun and chime, and sounds of nature such as those of flowing water and birds, & then integrating them into her aroma diffusers series. When one closes one’s eyes and listens to these sounds, one can hear the sounds of life. The inspiration of Puzhen Life’s Yun series was actually came from “xun” (ocarina made of baked clay), an ancient musical instrument of thick and penetrating sounds that can be visualized as a boundless desert or a meadow of densely grown grasses. Puzhen Life aroma diffusers adopt the efficient real time ultrasonic atomization technology to diffuse essential oil. The oil is atomized into minute ions and active oxide anions which are easier absorbed by human bodies than the emission from the conventional thermal diffusers is.
Sense of Vision - Color treatment:
Looking at a variety of colors can resulted in mental stimulation. The use of variations of the five colors of green, red, yellow, white and black can tune the psychological and phys mechanisms of the human body. Besides, warm colors (like orange, yellow, and pink) can make people feel warm, lively, and energetic. Cool colors (like black & white) make people peaceful and quiet. Blue color eliminates the tension, make one react faster. Intermediate colors more likely create gentle mood.
In the visionary clouds and fog in the Puzhen Life’s aroma diffuser, one can find the gentleness of blue, or the calmness of light purple, or the purity of white.
Next issue we will talk about the Sense of Touch – Massage treatment & Sense of Perception - Relaxation treatment.
